The choice fell on Elsebeth Norrie's beautiful watercolour showing
the characteristic poplar avenue at Strandvejen under a high spring sky.

Elsebeth Norrie, an artist from Nivå, won this year's art competition in Karlebo Municipality.
And on Saturday the 29th October at. 14:16, residents of the municipality of Karlebo will be able
to see the Lithography of the Year 2005, when it is presented at a reception in Rådhuskælderen

"It's a very beautiful and very characteristic picture from Karlebo Municipality,
which this year is chosen for the lithography of the Year." says Inger Grønkjær Ulrich,
chairman of the committee for Culture and Leisure, and continues: "As a new feature,
we have this year printed a number of posters with the year 2005 lithography which will be
distributed to the citizens who attend the reception. The artist Elsebeth Norrie will
naturally be present, so it will be possible to get your poster signed. "

"This year's lithography" is a good and exciting competition in which citizens' views on the
municipality come to light along with a great artistic nerve. It has been exciting to see the many suggestions from citizens, and see the diversity of artistic expression which is also part of Karlebo Municipality. "So thanks for the contributions and the enthusiasm," says Per Frost Henriksen, the Committee for Culture and Leisure.
